The ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ was selected as design/build contractor for a new chemical manufacturing facility to meet the needs of Jones-Hamilton, a long-time RLG customer. Jones-Hamilton is the world’s largest manufacturer of dry acid sodium bisulfate, used in the agriculture, water treatment, animal feed and food industries.
This Richburg, South Carolina facility is a 43,000-square-foot Varco-Pruden pre-engineered metal warehouse and metal packaging/maintenance structure with a 4,000-square foot office building.
Rudolph ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Properties assisted Jones-Hamilton in site selection, evaluation & incentives, saving them a significant amount of time and money.
Together Rudolph ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Inc. and GEM Inc. coordinated structural steel, piping, and electrical work. Features of the new facility include a spray/congealing tower and bucket elevator.
RLG and Jones-Hamilton have a 35-year relationship that began with the construction of the first Jones-Hamilton remote production facility in Wood County in 1981. Since that time, we helped them rebuild dozens of reactor vessels in our fabrication shop rather than replacing the entire vessel at a much greater cost to our client. We’ve also handled ongoing maintenance and repair jobs over the past three decades, including a major expansion completed in 2009.
